NINTETY PAGE BOOK OF SONG LYRICS, POETRY AND ART

A song is a poem and a dream and a prayer. . . .
So begins the introduction to this book, fourteen pages of art, seventy songs and poems, seven of which are songs on the cd. Eleven pages of art were produced by B.D. Bennett my long time colleague and featured guitarist on the cd. The remaining artwork was created by my two sons Jeremiah and Jared Dowell. The cd cover is from a painting by Jeremiah and the title cut was inspired by his vision. This
brief summation of the book I would conclude with the last lines of the introduction; "This book, like life, has a beginning and an ending. In between are glimpses of beauty, Tragedy, sadness, wisdom and love. It is the art of living and dying. . . ."
